Aerial Academy — Movement Zone is Key Biscayne's home for aerial arts training built for girls: strength, flexibility and confidence, taught through aerial silks and aerial hoop. Classes are organized by age and level, in small groups, with safety and technique as the non-negotiables — so every girl progresses at her own pace, and has fun doing it.
Students are placed in classes according to their age, experience, strength, technique, and individual progress. Our progressive level system allows every student to build strong foundations, learn safely, and advance with confidence.
Level 01
Ages 5–6 · Introductory
A playful introduction to the aerial world created especially for our youngest students. Children develop coordination, flexibility, body awareness, grip strength, listening skills, and confidence through age-appropriate aerial activities performed close to the floor.
No previous experience required
Level 02
Beginner
Students begin developing the essential foundations of aerial silks. They learn proper grip, basic climbs, footlocks, beginner poses, safe entries and exits, body positioning, and introductory conditioning. The goal of this level is to create strength, confidence, control, and safe technical habits.

Level 03
Intermediate
Students expand their aerial vocabulary and begin connecting skills with greater control and independence. Training includes inversions, hip keys, S-wrap foundations, aerial splits, balance poses, transitions, and introductory drops with appropriate preparation.

Level 04
Intermediate / Advanced
Designed for experienced students who are ready for more challenging skills, sequences, drops, rotations, and dynamic movement. Students work on endurance, flexibility, clean technique, performance quality, and the ability to execute combinations safely and confidently in the air.

Level 05
Advanced
Our highest-level aerial silks class combines advanced technique with artistry and stage preparation. Students work on complex sequences, drops, dynamic skills, musicality, expression, choreography, and performance endurance. This class prepares aerialists for academy productions, special events, demonstrations, and advanced performance opportunities.
Placement & instructor approval required
Aerial Mix & Fly gives students the opportunity to explore several exciting aerial apparatuses in one class. Students develop strength, coordination, flexibility, creativity, and adaptability while learning how movement changes from one apparatus to another.
Classes alternate on Fridays with Circus Lab
Beginner & Advanced Beginner
Designed for students who are beginning their multi-apparatus training. The class focuses on safe mounts, basic positions, balance, grip, introductory transitions, and confidence on each apparatus.
Intermediate & Advanced
Created for students with established aerial foundations. This class builds on more advanced transitions, combinations and dynamic movement across apparatuses, with an emphasis on clean technique, control and performance quality.
Class placement is confirmed with an instructor.
